Mastiff    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Hip Dysplasia

Roscoe is a very sweet dog. He was given to us about nine months ago. He has hip issues and is getting old, so his patience is not very good- with children. He is an amazing dog but due to recent aggressive behavior with my four year olds, we unfortunately have to find him a home immediately or euthanize him. Please rescue my sweet baby boy. He deserves the best life possible. I just have to keep my kids safe. He is 140 lbs of pure love.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Alaska
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Alaska if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
