Mastiff Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Very Submissive
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Buster was a stray that was taken in by a man and his wife. They already had two small older dogs. The two pre-existing dogs did not like Buster and they would pick on him, after about a year, Buster started to retaliate, so now Buster is in the Cabot, Arkansas Animal Shelter. We would appreciate it if someone could foster or adopt Buster. We will provide any assistance that we can. I will provide my name and email as a second contact. I was asked by the previous owner to help find Buster a home. He is not aggressive with adults-not sure about children and he isn't aggressive with other dogs-unless they start it.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Arkansas
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Arkansas if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
