Meet lovely Lois, a sweet senior English Mastiff that was rescued along with her Bullmastiff playmate, Clark. Lois is an 8-year old girl being fostered near Fayetteville, Arkansas. She is crate trained, house broken, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and micro-chipped. Lois loves children, does well with other dogs and would much prefer a brother to play with, although she is not keen on hyper puppies. She does have some separation anxiety, but if she is with another dog while crated she does just fine. Lois is happiest when laying by your side or in the same room with you. PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Arkansas
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Arkansas if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
