He has leash aggression and is not a dog park kind of dog. Loves to play with his ball in the back yard as long as someone will throw it for him. UPDATE: This super handsome boy is a marshmallow to his family and friends. However, he is a guardian breed and needs to be in a family with strong leadership and firm boundaries. Showed up where we work, skin & bones, sores all over. Had to help him. Food & water. Took to vet, check up and shots then neutered account 'jewel's' had never dropped. One eye not producing tears. 'Refresh' tear drops in that eye every day. VERY loveable dog. I walk him several times a day here at work. We live in a condo with 3 small strays. Taking Buddy home is not an option, Busy season at work approaching soon and will not have time to care for him. Buddy needs a good home suitable for large dog. Kern County Delano, CA MAP IT!

Reese and Nova (brother and sister) have had a difficult start in life for such a loving pair of dogs. They were living in Arizona with three other dogs when suddenly their owner passed away... It was almost TWO WEEKS before someone came to the home and discovered what had happened, and that the five dogs had been without food or water. Miraculously, two of the dogs survived- Reese and Nova. Today these two young dogs are rehabilitated from their trauma and are healthier and stronger than ever! Both dogs currently live at a boarding facility & sanctuary just north of Los Angeles in the Santa Clarita area. Reese and Nova are full of love for ... Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in California if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
