Hi I am Elly and here is a little about me. I am a Cane Corso Mastiff mix with Boxer. I have that cute little under bit and I am super Happy to be saved from a Very High Kill Shelter. My Rescue Mommy and Daddy came and saved me. I hung my head afraid of where they were taking me at the shelter and then I saw their smiling faces and I sprung into happiness instantly! Barbados is a 3-4 year old male, mastiff mix. This big boy weighs about 100 pounds. He is good with big dogs but not small dogs or cats. Barbados was rescued from a high kill shelter in Miami only to go into boarding for many months. Then he was adopted to what was thought to be a good home only to be found on the streets starving and dirty. He is now safe and still waiting for his forever home. This boy has been through a lot and needs a home to call his own with a family who will never abandon him. Hey all, I have my English Mastiff up for adoption. He is 2 years, 3 months old. He weighs about 170 lbs. and is neutered, micro chipped, and up to date on his shots. I need to re-home him. He is house broken. Goes potty outside. He has never chewed anything inside the house. He loves to go for rides. He ABSOLUTELY MUST go to a home with large dog experience. He NEEDS a fenced in yard because he doesn't do well on a leash. He barks/lunges at people. He needs more time and dedication then I am able to provide for him. They are almost identical, except Stella is a little smaller than Sam.. Sam has an underbite..he is not growling! We try to keep our fees as low as possible but we may have to add an additional fee if a vet visit or medications are required after this posting. In most case we are able to update the info with 48 hours, depending on help and time at the time vet visits. We also have a three hour drive time for all adoption, we are willing to do home visits. Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Florida if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
