Rescue Me ID: 16-05-25-00190Baby (female)
She is a mastiff mix, who loves attention from humans. She weighs about 85 lbs. She likes adults and kids. I am a senior citizen who cannot keep her in my small condo. I really have a difficult time controlling her on a leash. She needs a good home with a yard that allows her to roam around. She is a Sweetheart and I do not want to give her to animal control. I will try and post a pic of her.

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-18-00372Nova (female)
Nova is an approximately 1 year, 2 month old female Cane Corso (possibly mixed).. She came in as a stray to the local high kill shelter where I volunteer, and my husband and I fell in love with her and adopted her, but we are looking for the right forever home for her. She is high energy, but not a jumper. She seems to suffer from some anxiety, because she cannot be crated (in a standard crate) without attempting to break out. Nova enjoys exercise and running, but it does not tire her out like it does our other dogs. We are looking for a family or individual that can offer Nova the kind of home she deserves. This would include someone who will be home very often or works from home. Also, someone who has a lot of space for Nova to play is a must. Nova is a big girl (about 95 lbs) but is definitely a gentle giant. She LOVES children, but probably wouldn't do well in a home with small children because she could easily knock them over by bumping into them. Please message me if you have any questions about Nova. She is safe with us, but we would love to find her the home she deserves. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-27-00786Artimus (male)
Now this young boy is a stunner. Artimus is between 7 and 10 months old. He is a Cane Corso and just beautiful. He was rescued from Animal Control where he was ipounded as a stray and no owner was found. He has lots of puppy energy but thank god due to the breed not a long stamina :-) He is all puppy and very play ful. he is great with other dogs bigger sizes, but gets to excited about the little ones. Not in an aggressive way but he would be to rough to be playing with them. We have not tested him with cats yet. He is a bit of a wild child and needs some basic manners but he is all love and play.

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-18-00398Peaches (female)
Peaches Mastiff DOB: 3/23/2014 Female Large - 95 lbs Adoption Fee: $350 Peaches is currently in foster care with another Mastiff and two German Shepherd Dogs. She is housebroken, kennel trained and an overall great dog. She loves her dog toys, both hard and soft, and when she enjoys curling up on the dog bed close to her humans. Her current foster home is on three (3) fenced acres and we will require her new home have a large fenced area as well so she can run and play freely. Peaches like the freedom to go out and roll in the grass and soak up the sun after a play session with the other Mastiff in the house. She is an absolute joy to have around and wanting to share her love with her humans whenever possible. She will not be adopted out as an outdoor only dog, she needs the regular family interaction to thrive and therefore will need a home open to having an indoor dog. If you are interested in possibly adopting Peaches, please submit an application via our website www.humanemorgan.org . Click on 'adopt' and 'adopt a dog' to reach our online application. Once the application is approved for Peaches, you will receive a phone call to schedule a meet and greet. If your application is not approved for Peaches, however still valid for another of our available dogs, you will be contacted by email and the application will remain on file for 90 days. The HSMC does not adopt on a first come first come basis, we adopt based on the best needs of the animal and compatibility with potential families. Peaches is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and heartworm/flea preventative. A home inspection and overnight trial will be required before finalizing Peaches' adoption. If you have any additional questions please send them to email@example.com , subject 'Peaches'. ABOUT ADOPTING FROM THE HSMC: The shelter address is 1170 Fairground Rd. Madison, GA 30650. For more information on any of our pets, please feel free to give us a call at 706-343-9977. All dogs are heartworm negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, microchipped, and come with 30 days of free health insurance. All cats are FeLv/FIV negative, current on vaccines/dewormings, microchipped, and come with 30 days of free health insurance. We are open 10am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday, however, we stop doing adoptions at 4pm everyday to allow our staff enough time to feed and walk dogs. Please submit an application to adopt by going to www.humanemorgan.org and clicking on adopt. Adoptions are based on matching the adoptable pet with the right family. |Rescue Me ID: 16-04-11-00017Gucci (female)|
Gorgeous Gucci and her brother, Smash are the resident rockstars here at the Bullpen! Gucci is a very sweet 3 year old girl that gets along well with most other dogs. Because she is so calm and obedient, she would do wonderfully in a home with children. We haven't had the opportunity to see Gucci interact with cats, but we think she would do fine with a slow and proper introduction. Miss G is great on a leash, housebroken, knows how to sit, and can use a dog door. She is spayed, up-to-date with vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you're interested in is a good match. Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a 'perfect placement' so we know that they will not be failed again. (Less)

Ma 2-3 years old Ma was an abuse case and still learning to trust new people, her and her son Hank were rescued from a high kill shelter in south Atlanta. Ma will need someone patient and kind she would also do best in a home without other dogs, cats, or small children(under 10 due to her size) We know this is a tall order to fill but we don't want to give up hope that she will find her forever family out there somewhere! We offer a two week trial adoption for anyone interested in adopting any of our adoptable dogs, crate provided for those two weeks. This will allow you to spend time with them to make sure they are the perfect fit for you and your family. For more info please contact me via email: email@example.com (Less)

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
