Rescue Me ID: 14-09-11-00089Roxie (female)
Roxie is a Italian Cane Corso Mastiff. She was born on September 27, 2013 so she is a little under a year old at this point. She has been microchiped w/ HomeAgain and was fixed on March 4, 2014. I have all her vet records and she is up to date on all her shots. We currently have her enrolled it the Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan (it is up this december) we will continue to pay the monthly premium until the contract is up even if a new home is found for Roxie before then! We want to make sure her health is in good hands and she continues to be taken care of. She has gruaduated from the PetSmart Beginner Education class and knows basic comands like sit, loose-leash walking, down and drop it. She is fully house trained as well as crate trained. She is a awesome dog and we love her but we dont have the time to spend with her like we thought we would. This is why we would like to find a loving family that can spend more time with her throughout the day! I have a 3 lb dog that she is great with as well as we have a 3 yar old son who loves to play with her. She is a large dog but dont let that fool you, she is a sweet as they come. She weighs about 80 lbs right now and it is estimated she will grow up to 110 (I think they over estimated though to be honest ha-ha). (Crate included in adoption fee along with any food we have for her at the time and any toys she has) (Less)

I am a very loving dog. I love being on the inside cooling my belly on a nice cool floor. My new owner has to allow me to be a house dog. I am looking for someone to love on me and rub my belly. Don't let my side fool you, I am very gentle. I will eat out of your hand, I don't snap like most dogs. I am looking for a good friendly home. She is currently in heat. I will get her spayed and current on all shots when she is out of heat. Hopefully, in about a week or so.

Rescue Me ID: 14-07-17-00708Mama Eemah (female)
Mama Ema is the most laid back dog you will ever meet! We took her from a local animal control with the intent of transporting her several hours away to another rescue, but we fell in love. In her old age she prefers to be the only dog, and the rescue had a number of very young, energetic dogs that probably would not have been a good match for her. So, we took her back with us and have started a quest to find her the perfect home. She is around 8 years old and healthy other than having arthritis, which is normal for her age. She is housebroken, and she is easygoing. She is a quiet girl and will only bark if she absolutely has to. She rides well in a car. She stays by your side and loves nothing more than a comfy dog bed at your feet. Won't someone give this senior girl a place to retire? She has been through a lot, but you would not know it from her gentle, easy temperament. Even though you will be the one who is lucking out, you will also be a hero to this beautiful girl if you give her a loving home. (Less)

Animal ID: A463113Cameron (female)
Hi, I'm Cameron. Back in March 2014, my family's house burned down, so I ended up at a shelter. My foster mom says that was actually a good thing because my old family didn't take very good care of me. When I got to the shelter, I only weighed about 30 pounds because I didn't get enough to eat, and I had heartworms because they left me outside where the mosquitoes that carry the worm eggs could bite me, and they didn't give me heartworm preventatives. The nice people at the shelter treated me for the heartworms, and now they're all gone, and I'm as good as new. My new friends at the shelter also made sure I got plenty of food, so now I'm a healthy 65 pounds - double what I weighed before! They also got me into a foster home so I wouldn't have to wait in the shelter to find my forever home. Now I'm all ready for my new family! I'm a sweet girl who loves getting attention. I'll put my head in your lap to show you I want some love and flop over and ask for tummy rubs, but when petting time is over I like to find a cool spot on the floor to take a nap. I'm house trained and will go willingly into my crate. My foster mom says I'm coming out of my shell and becoming more playful, wrestling with my foster siblings and playing with toys, though I haven't chewed on anything in the house. My foster mom says I'm a good girl. I currently live with several other dogs, but it's still a good idea to introduce me to new dogs carefully. I don't start fights, but I don't back down when I'm being bullied. I would be happiest as an only dog. I can get a little possessive of my food and treats with so many strange dogs around, so my foster mom feeds me in my crate. She says this is probably because I didn't get enough to eat in my old home. I know how to sit, though I get a little excited when I see my family after they've been gone all day. My foster mom is working on teaching me not to jump up to get attention. I love kids and haven't jumped on any children I've met at adoption events. I'd love a home where I can get plenty of attention from my humans and a daily walk. If you're looking for a walking partner, I do well walking in a straight line on a leash without pulling. I'm already spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, including rabies, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you are looking for a love bug with moderate energy to add to your family, email firstname.lastname@example.org to fill out an application and meet me! You can a also contact my foster mom at email@example.com to hear more about me. My adoption fee is free during September. The regular fee is $85. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-03-29-00403Lobo (male)
Lobo is a 6 year old Cane Corso/ Pit Bull mix. He's 90 lbs, with a beautiful blue brindle coat. He isn't good with other dogs, so he needs to be the only pet and have owners who will handle him responsibly. Lobo is a great companion. He's a calm dog who would like nothing more than to sit next to you, and an occasional game of fetch. Lobo has had a rough life, and ended up heartworm positive in a kill shelter. He's been treated for his heartworms and is safe out of the shelter. Now he just needs his perfect home. Please fill out an application at www.ShelterAngelsPitBullRescue.org if you'd like to meet him. References & home checks required.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Georgia
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
