Rescue Me ID: 14-09-26-00228Bentley (male)
We took Bentley in from an acquaintance that could not keep him do to size and lack of space. We have 2 other dogs, a male mixed lab and a female English Mastiff. All are outside on 5_7 acres. They all get along great. Bentley is generally a sweet dog, loves attention and to play. However, over past few months has nipped at guests. We have 3 teenage daughters so lots of people in and out of house. So we can not keep him and chance someone getting bit or hurt. He has never been aggressive with us or our kids. And even though he has nipped at others/ guests I wouldn't really call it aggressive behavior.

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-22-00679Diesel (male)
We are looking to rehome our sweet dog, Diesel. Diesel is a black lab/mastiff mix who is wonderful with children. He is a gentle boy who loves any kind of attention that you can give him. We have several small children and he has been gentle and tolerant of them but unfortunately he is not good with our other dog and we feel like it is unfair to everyone involved to keep him in our home with another dog. He would probably need to be the only pet in the home, although we have never had him around cats. He is about 120-130 lbs and is neutered. He will come with a large wire crate and his elevated food bowl set. We can also include some of his food to get him started out in your home. We don't want him to go to a home where he will be outside all the time because he loves being around people and it would break his heart to be outside away from his family all the time. A small rehoming fee will apply to try and insure that he goes to a good home. Please help us find a good home for our baby. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-16-00467Pinky (female)
Pinky is a 1 year old mastiff/pit bull mix. She's tall and a big girl. She's also very sweet and loving. Great with other dogs and kids. She's house trained and crate trained. Please consider giving Pinky her forever home.

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
