We are relocating to Florida and we can't have him in the community we will be living in. We would like to find a good country home where he has room to run.

|Rescue Me ID: 15-04-26-00150Millie (female)|
Millie was born March of 2013. She is spayed and current on vaccines, heartworm pill and flea/tick preventative. She has never walked on a leash and only on occasion had rode in a car. She has been around children of all ages since we bought her at 6 weeks old. She has never showed any aggression at all to anyone. She does act timid and shy around new people and she does have to warm up and get to know you before she shows any real excitement or affection. She has been know to eat/chew things that are left out. She loves to be inside but is very happy outside also. She is on the small side for her breed, she was the runt of the litter. We bought her from a breeder at 6wks old. We want to find a home for her that has a lot of time and love to give her. She would prefer to be the only dog but has adjusted with time to being around other dogs. We had a male stray german shepherd show up and it took them several months to really be good together. We do not have the time with work and 3 kids to give her the love and attention that she deserves. She is full blooded but not registered as I never had any intention of breeding her. We just love the breed for their disposition and loyalty. (Less)

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
