Rescue Me ID: 15-03-20-00183Mavis (female)
She's a 115 pounds Cane Corso and is a very loyal sweetheart that's playful and great with kids (our toddlers love her). She's easy going, crate trained, house broken and she loves her toys and human attention. We really love her very much, but Mavis isn't getting along with our female Jack Russell Terrier. She doesn't bite our dog but will occasionally growl, so we're not the perfect fit for this lovely lady (if we didn't have our jack we would not be trying to rehome her). She may do well with a larger male, but we can't say for sure.

Animal ID: 15-01-30-00145Zeus (male)
He loves all kids, but he does like strange adults. He is registered and has paperwork. He will take some time getting use to a new adult. He loves playing with balls and fetch. He is very protective and has been trained with the exception collar with Sit means Sit.

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-17-00546Tytan (male)
I need to find Tytan a home where he will get the attention he needs as I work all day and the kids have sports. He is a very loving dog and loves his belly and ears rubbed. He likes to take walks and loves to run around the yard and play. He is current on all his vaccines. He is not neutered.

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
