Looking for a loving home for my female Cane Corso Amorie. She needs a strong leader that is familiar with the breed. She is very protective of her family and good with kids and other dogs. She currently lives with two boston terriers and another female corso and gets along well with them.

Shiloh is a sweet girl Cane Corso. She will be two in October. She weighs 113 lbs. She loves to be with her family and play with her toys, tug of war especially. She also enjoys walks. She has had basic obedience training. We noticed about age 6 months Shiloh had signs of hip dyslasia. Then about 10 months ago she had a fractured femur in an accident. She had two surgeries to correct this. She will always need to keep her weight down and be on glucosamine supplements. Currently she is on an antibiotic for a skin infection, which seems to be clearing up. We have also noticed issues with possibly vaginitis. We would like her to go to a loving home with the time to give her, and possibly experienced with mastiffs and their (expensive) needs. She is in a home with small children now, but older kids might be better. She doesn't know her size and plays a bit rough. She is happiest to be always with her owner, and with a mastiff that means as close to you as she can get. (Less)

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
