Rescue Me ID: 17-10-17-00268Butterscotch's babies (male)
These babies will be ready at the end of October when they will be 8 weeks old, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and wormed (3 times by the time they are ready to go home. Mom is Butterscotch. She weighs approximately 38lbs full grown. We have no idea what dad is or how big these babies will be. We can make our best guess as they will be slightly bigger than Mom based on their size. We have 4 boys and 1 girl in this litter. Their adoption fee is $275 We are located in Grand Haven, MI. We have an application process in which we will check vet references, home ownership or talk to the landlord, we also run a background check for previous abuse or neglect. You can find our application on our website www.caninesrescue.com (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-09-04-00230Malachi (male)
Malachi is a 4 year old male daniff. We have had him since 6 weeks old. No health issues and is up to date on all vaccinations. A few months ago Malachi starting snapping at children. We dont usually have children around so we had never had a issue. My niece recently moved in and is expecting a baby in january. i am concerned to keep him with this snapping issue. He has only snapped about 5 times but he is 155# so it would be easy for him to accidential hurt someone. It breaks our heart that we have to rehome him. He is a perfect dog 99.9% of the time. He is potty trained good with cats and good with our female 9 year old lab mix. I am looking for a wonderful forever home for our baby. He needs a home without children. He is pretty lazy (as most big dogs are) but does love car rides and being outside. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Michigan
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
