Mastiff Mix    Age: Puppy

Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Vaccinations Current

ADOPTION APPLICATION: Foster Mom says I'm making her break her own rule, about not having favorites. That's okay because everyone who meets me say I'm their favorite too. My name is Zeus and life was really rough for me before I got to safety here at Light at the End of the Tunnel Dog Rescue. When I got here I was terrified of everything, especially people. The good news is I've been getting oodles of love and now I'm learning that people are pretty awesome! I am still shy when I meet new people, but if you extend your hand to me I come right up, my whole body wiggling (cause I can't control my happy tail) and ... (Read More)then we are friends forever! I love to cuddle and snuggle, and I really like my jolly-ball too. Foster Mom guesses that I am a mastiff mix because I am one big muscle-y boy. Please don't overlook me because of my past or my tough guy looks... I am a 90 pound marshmallow without a mean bone in my body! I am only about 18 months old and very eager to please - I'd love to have a family of my own that can teach me some new tricks! My ideal home would have no cats or small dogs, and please no very young children. I am not mean to kids at all - in fact I LOVE kids, but small ones make me feel nervous. I would be much more comfortable in a home with kids 14 and up. (Less)

My name is Zeus and I am an incredible boy. I was not well cared for when I was a pup so now I am shy with strangers. I love people, but when I meets omeone new, sometimes I lay on my belly and wiggle, because I'm not sure if they are nice or not. I love to cuddle and I give great hugs and kisses. I am young, only about 18 months old, and there isn't a mean bone in my body! My favorite thing to do is lay my head in your lap and snuggle. I also like to play with my jolly ball - I throw it all around and pounce on it! I would be best in a home without small dogs and cats. Young children make me nervous so for my own comfort level, I should ... (Read More)be in a home with kids over the age of 10.     You may know me as Big Ben, but I am also a 2 year old gentle giant type of guy (male dog). I've been with children and by other dogs, pretty much housebroke myself and I always handle situations in a good manner. I like people a lot and very little gets me to even bark. I can also be protective of my owners and will bark a time or two if someone new comes over. Even though I am big, I will be very careful moving around and be the perfect dog for you. I am called a St. Bernard mix whatever that means, see a picture of me for yourself. If you like a loving, quiet, and relaxed dog who likes treats please asked to see me because I know ...     Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
