Duke is an incredible sweet and loving older male dog that needs lots of love. He's old and is going deaf and has cyst but is in no pain so we don't want to put him down. He's very calm and just wants to be loved. The only reason we need to find him a new home is that we are moving out of state and can't take him with us. He's was raised with our children and does well with other large female dog.

Meet Marley! This super sweet boy is about 2 years old, Mastiff mix, he's neutered, microchipped and up to date with shots. Marley is house trained, good with adults, kids, and is best friends with a 2yr old. He has a medium energy level and is pretty chill but he also enjoys playing fetch in the back yard, he loves to go for walks and is just as happy curled up inside to watch a movie. Marley knows his basic commands really well and takes treats nicely; he is a happy, easy-going dog who just wants to spend time with his family. He would be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a trained and relaxed dog who will be a loyal best ... (Read More)friend. (Less)

Sally is very lovable & sweet. We are putting Sally & her son, Rocky up for adoption together. We are very sad we have had to make this decision but with 2 young boys, who we have split custody with their mother & a new 7 month old baby also we are relocating from a 2,000 sq ft home to an apartment to save money at the end of March so it's not possible for us to bring them. We want them to go to a loving home & hopefully not separated. They both share a large kennel inside our home because they love being together but they are outside doors for the most part. They will bark of someone comes to our fence which we love. Sally is a such a good ... (Read More)girl. I do have bad allergies so it's hard for my wife and I to play with her & love on her like we'd like to. She loves to lay next to you, cuddling and a whole lot of attention. Her and her son, Rocky have never been apart. They are awesome dogs. Please contact us if interested in her or both. Rocky, her son, is listed on here as well. Thank you!!! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-18-00408Atticus (male)

Mastiff Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

My name is Atticus and I am looking for a new home. I am a handsome and loveable 2 1/2 year old, 50 lb. Mastiff/Shar Pei mix. I was rescued from the Nevada Humane Society over two years ago by my parents, but due to a recent change in circumstances, I can no longer live at my current home. I am house and crate trained. I have worked on both my leash and e-collar training, but I still have to have the leash on when outside in neighborhoods as I like to see everything that is going on in the world and have gotten into fights with other dogs before. And I am up to date on all my shots. I am very dominant and have occasional aggression towards ... (Read More)other people and dogs. I do not like young children or babies and I doubt I ever will. I am wary of unfamiliar people and I have been known to growl and lunge at those I am wary about. I can become protective of my chosen humans, but to those I accept, I am extremely loyal and lovable and will climb my large bulk into your lap while watching TV or reading a book. I am looking for a nice home with a large fenced yard (I like to run a lot!) and a family that has history dealing with aggressive dogs. I would be perfect for a man, woman, or couple looking for a big, cuddly companion or a family with teenage children. I have lived with other dogs. But at this time I don't think I would do well unless the other dogs were submissive. I grew up with a pack and they are all gone and I find it hard to meet and make friends. I must meet all prospective parents first. I come with a lot of my favorite toys and supplies to make transition to my new home easier. I know that I can be a handful, but that doesn't mean I can't also be loveable! If interested, and you would like more information, please contact my parents by e-mail at Rhuell13@gmail.com, or call and leave a message at (775) 843-4846. I hope to find a new home soon. (Less)

Animal ID: 157051470Dakota (male)

Mastiff Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Fearful/Anxious

Dakota is a good dog that will make someone a good companion. Due to his young age he does need some training. He is part pit, part mastiff and part German. He has been good with people and kids.. Not exact on cats, my cat does not like him and he antagonizes the cat frequently. He truly is a lover and loves attention. My son brought him home without asking and he is just too much for us right now. We have three other animals.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Nevada
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Nevada if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
