Rescue Me ID: 15-01-22-00583Brutus (male)
My name is Brutus. My foster mommy believes I am an American Bulldog/Mastiff mix. I am a very big boy and the rescuers think I am about 4 years old. I am a big teddy bear although I can get kind of rough when I am playing. I love other doggies! Even the little ones. But sometimes I step on them! unsure emoticon oops! I am food shy and should be fed by myself. I like kids! I need a bigger kid though because I might knock the little ones down. My foster mommy has horses and I think it is so fun to chase them! Even though foster mommy yells NO! HeHe. My foster mommy was very kind and has given me all my shots so that I don't get sick, put me on heartworm prevention, and she even had me neutered so I wouldn't have puppies! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-21-00309Brock (male)
Brock is a good dog but needs a home with a lot of room to run. Active home would be ideal. I found him and his brother running the streets.

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-01-00205Sheba (female)
Sheba was left to fend on her own when her owners moved out of state. At first she was very shy but once she gained a little trust, she became an affectionate and lovable pet. She is a little high energy when she is enteracting with people but otherwise she is fairly calm. She just gets excited when she has someone to pay attention to her. Lots of kisses if allowed. She snuggles on couch with you but sometimes thinks she is little and wants to sit in your lap. Once Sheba establishes a home as her own, she stays well in the yard. She will explore the territory if allowed in the first few weeks in a new home. A secure fenced yard is necessary to protect this girl. (Less)

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
