Gunner was found roaming farm to farm looking for food. Even though he's a gentle giant, he was at risk for being shot. He looks like a full blood bull Mastif but you never know in rewcue. At the shelter he loves the two pups and Rodney the Rat Terrier he lives with and loved the cats he visited at the farms. Not so good with chickens though but he also was homeless and starved at the time. Vet believes he is mastiff also and he has a gorgeous brindle coloring. Gunner is neutered, UTD on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea and tick med, and thinks he's a big ol' teddy bear. He is learning manners quickly and looking to find a ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Oklahoma
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
