Mastiff    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive

Bentley is a beautiful fawn colored body with traditional black face. He is approximatelt 178 pounds and is healthy with no know health issues. He is 6 years old and loves babies, children and adults. His temperament is incredibly gentle. However, he is not good with other animals, in particular cats. I have just moved into town from a ranch and Bentley is not happy in a small yard and the noises that occur in town. He is a country dog and needs room to run. He is very protective of 'HIS' territory and is a great watch dog. He loves to be brushed and as most large dogs do, loves his naps during the day. He is 100% house broken. I have toys, ... (Read More)brushes and large stainless steel dog bowls, along with 2 leashes and a training collar that go with him. I do not have papers for him, but he is obviously purebred. (Less)

Gunner was found roaming farm to farm looking for food. Even though he's a gentle giant, he was at risk for being shot. He looks like a full blood Cane Corso Mastif but you never know in rescue. At the shelter he loves the two pups and Rodney the Rat Terrier he lives with and loved the cats he visited at the farms. Not so good with chickens though but he also was homeless and starved at the time. He has a gorgeous brindle coloring. Gunner is neutered, house trained, UTD on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea and tick med, and thinks he's a big ol' teddy bear. His adoption fee is $60 and we are always willing to do our best ... (Read More)with helping to transport. PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in Oklahoma
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Oklahoma if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
