Mastiff Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This is Teddy, a 1 1/2 year old Mastiff mix. This gentle giant loves people of all ages and is very sociable. He is slow to warm up to other dogs but, after proper introductions, will play like the pup he is. Teddy is crate trained, housebroken, and working with walking on a leash. He is neutered, current with vaccinations, and fostered in Hanover, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all breed dog rescue. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at ... (Read More)www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $275 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $325 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Rescue Me ID: 16-08-21-00436Pepper (female)

Mastiff Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

This gorgeous girl is a 1-2 year old corso/rotti mix, and a complete lovebug!! She is completely house and crate trained, and none destructive (to anything BUT her toys lol) She is a young dog with lots of energy, and needs some room to run but can be calm when settled in. She would be best in a home with a yard and humans with big dog experience to give her basic, and consistent training. She has a slightly malformed front paw that gives her goofy character. Her paw doesn't affect anything though, nor does it need treatment! Her foster mom has had it X-rayed, and it is just from birth. Pepper can be nervous around new people when she doesnt ... (Read More)not trust her surroundings. With slow intros will open up quickly if she is in a loving and trusting environment and feels comfortable. She can also be a little shy towards men while on the leash, but in the home she welcomes everyone as long as her trusted human companion is there. Pepper would probably be best in a home with no cats. Though she has never been given the opportunity to hurt the resident cat she is way to interested in getting to him. Simply due to her size, she would probably be best in a home with older children, but she has never shown agression towards kids. And as most big dogs do, even though she is 100 pounds, this sweetheart considers herself a lapdog! Mastiff    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Bruno is a 2-3 yr. . He is a gentle giant who is sweet, and just a big baby in a big body! While he can get along with other dogs, he would do best as an only pet. He loves to go on walks/hikes, and even can be a great running partner. But don't worry he's also very content to just snuggle up and watch a movie with you. He is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, UTD on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. All he needs now is a family to call his own!     Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
