|Rescue Me ID: 16-08-22-00735Mr. Tibbs (male)|
Mr. Tibbs is a 1-2 year old Daniff (Great Dane/Mastiff mix) who has the CUTEST face you will ever see !! Tibbs came to us from a local shelter with a bad case of demodex. That issue has been cleared up, however it has scarred his skin in places. He has an awesome personality, loves to play, and has great energy!! Tibbs knows sit, shake, stay, and will lay his head on your chest to get lots of love from you. He does well with children & cats. He does well with some dogs so a meet and greet with current dogs will be an absolute must! Tibbs is looking for a forever family who can see past his scars and straight into that sweet face. He deserves an awesome home....is that you??? If you are interested in adopting Mr. Tibbs please visit our website www.watersedgegreatdanerescue.com for more information about our adoption process and to fill out an application. Adoption fee $450 (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-06-29-00186Bertha (female)|
Bertha is about 6 years old and believed to be a mastiff/plott mix. She weighs about 75lbs, but as you can see by her pictures, she is a big baby. We are working with her on training and she knows 'sit' and 'paw'. She has worked with Solid K9 trainer, Jeff Gellman. She walks well on a leash and does well with other dogs. Because of Bertha's size and energy, we recommend a home without small children. Do you have a spot for Bertha in your home and heart?

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
