|Animal ID: SiriusSirius Black (male)|
Sirius was rescued from a local shelter/adoption facility inJanuary and was my constNt companion until my move to Georgia two months ago. I have invested $1200 in obedience training but no one is working with him now that I am gone. He is staying with family while I place him. My family is tired of caring for him so I need to rehome himsoon! We had him DNA'd and he is Gordon Setter -Jindo - lab -Mastiff.

|Animal ID: 14-06-03-00184Brett (male)|
GREAT COMPANION. Gentle, but playful; calm in demeanor; well socialized with people and other dogs. BRETT is the perfect companion for anyone who likes larger dogs. Yes, he's 8 - but he's NOT old! Brett could easily live to be 15 years or more. Don't overlook this wonderful dog. Download our application at www.savethestrays.org and apply today! BRETT'S PROFILE: Breed(s): mastiff mix Gender: neutered male Estimated age: 8 years Weight: 67 lbs. Health: excellent; no known medical conditions Energy level: medium; will play with toys/other dogs Good with other dogs: yes Grooming needs: minimal Bark factor: Brett will alert if someone approaches but is otherwise quiet Behavioral issues: Exhibited separation anxiety when moved to a new home and left alone (something we did NOT see in rescue), so Brett needs a home where someone is home a lot and/or has another dog to keep him company when they go out. A Thundershirt might also help with this issue. Favorite activities: hugs, chest rubs and walks Dream home: any place where he can be an integral part of the family/home and is not left home alone without at least another dog for company. Children are fine; Brett is very gentle. A fenced yard would be nice, but Brett walks well on leash. MORE QUESTIONS? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
