Hi, I have a beautiful dog named Coco. She is boxer and mastiff mix and I got her from the Greenville humane society at 5months of age. She was born in Feburary of 2014. She has always been super healthy just as she is now. All shots up to date. Brindle with black mask, white tip toes and white belly. Has been spayed. This dog has a lot of energy. She is very strong. She weighs about 65lbs (guess). She is very friendly with people but CANNOT go to a home with other dogs or young children. This dog has dominant nature and needs to go to someone who knows how to deal with this type of dog behavior. Because of this she just doesn't quite fit ... (Read More)in with our family. We do NOT have to rehome this dog. This dog is perfectly comfy and cared for here. I have grown to love her very much. However I feel that she could have more potential and live optimally in a home with no other dogs. She is very loving and very very happy. She enjoys learning new things, definitely loves food and treats. Loves walking and running on leash. She does not do well at the dog park because of the other dogs but is house trained and knows basic commands. However she will not listen to you if you havent earned her respect yet!! This is a UNIQUE dog. Needs a unique owner who is willing to put in lots of time, work and love. She gets along with our Great Dane but sometimes they get into arguments, and I'm scared of them getting hurt while I'm not around. (Less)

50 pound, blue gray with white markings. The mastiff shows in her gray-green eyes. She was the runt of the litter and might be 50% mastiff and mixed with American Stadfordshire Terrior and Rhodesian Ridgeback. She needs a home immediately as I cannot afford to provide adequate care for her. I had to put her daughter to sleep last week because she ingested poison and I did not have the money to pay for the emergency vet care she needed.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Mastiff in South Carolina
Mastiff Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Old English Mastiff is a massive breed. Mastiffs are very gentle toward their families. This is an intelligent, protective breed that makes a good guard dog but is unlikely to attack unless severely provoked. Mastiffs behave well with children but should be watched with little ones because of their large size. Mastiffs need gentle training and socialization from an early age. Mastiffs can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard.
