     We were so worried that we could not find a good home for Diana. When Mike came to meet Diana, she took to him right away. She left with him they day for a three hour drive to her new home. I feel really good that she will be loved and treated like the princess she is. Thank you, Rescue Me!

     I was very fortunate to find a VERY nice home for Jerome. The adoptive family already loves him, and he has obviously adapted extremely well. He seems to have taken to the children in the family, and the adults are giving him plenty of exercise. Fortunately, the family has relatives that also have large dogs, and the environment for Jerome will be the absolute best for him. The adoptive family is sending us pics and videos of his life and we couldn't be happier for Jerome. His future looks extremely promising. Thanks, Rescue Me!

     I was so worried about posting our dog on here, being online. We just wanted our dog to have a good home. Through a well thought out description of who our dog was and what his needs were, and screening people carefully we were able to find our dog not only a good home, but I don't have to worry about him.      I recently had to put down my eight year old English Mastiff due to medical problems. He was a rescue dog and I had only had Max for only six months. I was bummed out and determined to find me another dog, so I looked and found Moses on Rescue Me. I filled out an adopting form for Moses and was contacted very quickly by the owner. After, I was told that I was the lucky winner for Moses I drove eight hours round trip to Pennsylvania to pick Moses up and brig him back to Ohio to his new home. Moses is a wonderful dog that I am hoping to have for years to come. Thank you Mr. Jeff Gold for making Rescue Me a success story for bringing and saving rescue dogs from being euthanized and for helping people looking for dogs a way to come together in a wonderful win/win success story that coudn`t have happened if not for you.

     I fell in love with the English Mastiff breed a long time ago, but was never able to have one. I'm a disabled veteran who his Great Pyrenees as a service dog. He's the best guy and truly helps me out. But, he's going to be retiring in a couple years and after rescuing him as an abut I wanted to start with a puppy for my new service dog prospect. I just happened to see Morgan here and inquired about him. His mom and I talked a lot about what he'd be doing and she said that he'd be perfect for me. I picked him up today. After a rocky start together, we got close on the long drive home. He's fitting in well with my pack. I think that this is definitely a win/win. I'm in love with him already!! Thank you very much for helping me find my new savior, Rescue Me!

     We took Max, a five year old French Mastiff, in to help a friend who had no other option but to take him to the pound. He is a wonderful dog but we soon learned him and my male English Bulldog were not going to be buddies as they both are in love with my female English Bulldog. I posted Max on Rescue Me, he has been adopted. He will be continuing his its a dogs life with, hopefully his new love, a 9 year old female lab, a mom and a dad with a very large fenced in play area. They have had a Mastiff before and are very excited to bring Max into their lives. Blessings to Rescue Me in finding this beautiful animal a forever home.

     Holly and Zoey, her Pit bull buddy of seven years, were adopted by a family of ten. Eight kids to love and play with them and love they way they deserved. They have three fenced in acres to run around on and a house to live in. Please check the homes of the people you give your dogs to. The first person we talked to said he had a house with a fenced in yard. But he lived in a mobile home park with no fence and had a neighbor who told him he would shoot our dogs if they came on his property. I know it is easier to have people come get them but people lie. Go to the homes if people who want your dog. You could be giving them to a dog fighter who is using them for bait. Anyone who is legitimate will let you do that and your dog will be in a safe and happy home. You will be happier knowing you did the best thing for your dog. Holly and Zoey now have a safe and happy forever home and we sleep better at night knowing we checked these people out. They are great and love the dogs already. They update us on how they're adjusting. It took only about a week to find our dogs a great place on Rescue Me. Do the same for your dogs!

     We searched for two weeks online through rescues to find the right large breed dog. We mainly were seeking an Italian Mastiff, Cane Corso. We found a handsome purebred male named Klaus on Rescue Me and were able to contact the parents/owners of Klaus immediately. They were friendly and very helpful. Although they were a seven hour drive from us, we talked enough and felt comfortable to make the trip hoping it would work out. Once we met Klaus, we were happy to see he had great basic training and liked us right away. We fell in love and decided to take him home that day! We appreciate sites like this! We now have a life companion that's a great guard dog but a new family member as well.

     I was recently faced with having to surrender my 15 month old Presa Canario that I have searched so hard to find. I emailed several no kill shelters and only received one response stating they only accepted small breed dogs. I really did not want to send him to a shelter, but I thought that was the only option but after not getting a response from any of the shelters it left me to continue my search. This led me to Rescue Me. My dog was posted for less then a week, and I had at least five inquiries. The very first person to come and see him adopted him. So I am so thankful for your services.

     I signed up for emails looking for a mastiff. I previously had a bonded pair. Needless to say English Mastiff is the only breed that makes my heart skip a beat. I found Miss Daisy Mae on Rescue Me. She has socialization issues and we are working on those. She has bonded with me, but not bonding with other members of the family as well. It's only been six weeks, and she has come so far! She still has a ways to go. I'm not giving up just yet, but if I do think that she would be better in a home with less people, I will come to Rescue Me to find her new forever family as well.

     Moose was pulled from the shelter by the rescue Paw Prints in The Sand, and brought to my house so I could foster him. From the moment he popped out of the car, I knew he was a special guy. Moose was so well behaved and one of the sweetest dogs I've seen come out of the shelter. He got along great with my other foster dogs and fit in well with us. I posted Moose on Rescue Me, and he got lots of attention! Everyone loved his pictures and it was nice to see so many people show an interest. After meeting a few possible adopters Moose met Nova, who was looking for a loyal companion just like him! They instantly fell in love and could not keep her eyes off of him. I could tell she had a special place in her heart for him and that they were a good match. The rescue checked out her house and she filled out the adoption application and everything worked out nicely. I drove Moose to Nova's house and he was ecstatic to go to his new forever home. She has a big back yard that was like a paradise to him! Moose is such a stud, it only took two months to find Nova. It was clear she would provide a loving and caring home for him. In return I know Moose will show her so much love and affection every day! Thanks Rescue Me for connecting Moose and Nova!

     We had our beloved Dogue de Bordeaux Vera for 14 years. She was my best friend. When she passed, I was very empty. We recently decided to get a family dog, but wanted to rescue, because there are so many dogs in need. I signed up for emails for Mastiffs with Rescue Me, because I am familiar with the breed. I got the email about Mabel, and got chills. After talking with Carrie, I knew it was meant to be. I just wanted to say thank you Carrie and Rescue Me for giving us the chance to make Mabel our newest family member!

     Today is Maximus' first full day in his forever home. My wife and were looking for a Cane Corso for quite some time. We contacted several rescue organizations before finding Rescue Me. Thanks to the giving nature of this site, as well as Shadow's Fund (the rescue organization that posted Max here), we were able to save a dog in need of a loving family and add the love that this dog has to offer to our home. It is a truly win-win situation. We were nervous at first bringing a dog of this size into a home where we already have a small dog. Shadow's Fund worked with us to get Maximus evaluated through a local trainer to give us the peace of mind we needed before proceeding. Yesterday, I drove for a total of 11 hours to pick him up and bring him back home. My advice, use this site to not only look locally, but in those areas that you could reasonably get to in a day or two to find that perfect match. We could not be any happier. Thank you

     I am very pleased to have adopted Andre the Giant through Rescue Me. I saw Andre and contacted the owners. They agreed to meet us at a public park a few miles from their home. We drove the almost four hours with our mastiff, Shania, so we could be sure our family was a good fit for Andre. After a few hour visit, we decided to make Andre a part of our family. The next day we met half way to bring Andre home. We couldn't be happier. This website helped two families from opposite sides of the state connect to rescue this lovable giant. Thank you.

A shelter was an absolute last resort that we did not want; we had made attempts to find a home for Abby in our hometown, but were limited to asking friends and co-workers. This website opened up so many more options, and most importantly, connected us with potential fur parents that wanted this breed.      Sheba was adopted by a recently divorced woman looking for companionship and protection. Sheba was given her own doggie bed in the bedroom but soon snuggled her way on to her new mom's bed. Both are extremely happy to have each other. From abandoned on a country road to being treated like a queen. Yes!! Thanks, Rescue Me.

     Hi Rescue Me. Thank you so much for your site, it was quick and easy to post, we had a new family that wanted Si within three days. I am so glad that I was able to put all the cards on the table and still found someone who will hopefully love and care for him instead of putting him down because of aggressiveness. I believe there is a loving home for every animal regardless of its history and sometimes it just needs to be the right setting. I am grateful because when you are able to reach the masses and find that perfect home it gives the animals a chance at a great life.

     We adopted Hugo yesterday and he is settling in very well. We were looking at Bouviers - because we have had them and Mastiffs because we have a friend who has three. Love the breed. There was no picture with the listing, but I heard back from the owner that was giving him up. She sent several pictures. We talked and it seemed perfect for both of us. Three days later, my husband picked him up. Happy to have found Hugo II. Our Bouv that passed away was Hugo also and I really feel he had a paw in helping us find this big boy.      I rescued an 86 pound Mastiff Lab mix who was stuck at the shelter for five to six months with a 'label' of 'not good with women'. I was told the dog would be next to be euthanized. He was big, black, and almost 90 pounds and listed as eight years old. The poor dog loves women and vet verified, is more like five years old. I sought out help from other rescuers and got nowhere. I was desperate. I posted his picture on Rescue Me and, in two days, the perfect candidate stepped forward. I worked with her and she is flying out to get this dog and take it home by train. Several other interested parties came forward as well. This dog will go to his forever home on a horse ranch. Thanks to the good people at Rescue Me, this is an amazing site where miracles can happen.

     I was getting very nervous because my mom said she was going to take Meiko to a shelter. I thought I would try this website one more time just because I did not want him to be put down at a shelter. Within a week, someone contacted me about Meiko. This person saved Meiko's life and I cannot be more grateful! Meiko now has a forever home with a new family that he plays with and goes on walks with constantly. I don't know what would have happened to Meiko if it were not for Rescue Me.

     When we found Rescue Me, we were looking for a playmate for our 20 month old female Presa. We really took some time in doing so as we needed to find just the right match for or Rayven and our other fur-babies (small dogs and cats) Plus we have a 10 year old son. When we saw Brutus' picture, we knew he was the one, but were concerned about adopting a 22 month old that could have issues. I talked with his owner on many occasions and after some debate, we decided to give Brutus a chance. When we first met Brutus, he was a bit shy, but within minutes he was running on leash beside my son. When we introduced him to our home and the other babies one on one, we knew he'd fit right in. To make things more complicated, I am puppy sitting a seven month old Boxer and a five month old Presa for a military family out on tour. Brutus plays well with everyone, even the little babies. He doesn't seem bothered by the cats, and he loves our son. His favorite game with Rayven is tug-a-war. And when playing he is very vocal. He has fit into our family with total ease and everyone loves him too. With all my concerns prior to adopting Brutus, I'm very glad they didn't stop me from loving and being loved by this Big, Big Baby! I am very glad we searched on your site and his owner was very honest with us helping us find our new forever baby. With that said I must confess the only issue is wanting to wake me up at three or four am for some one on one playtime..... Ha Ha!

     Our Oliver is such a handsome, happy puppy! We found a couple of pups on Rescue Me! and traveled 2 1/2 hours to meet them. Our first choice didn't get along best with our other puppy, so we moved on to our second choice. What a perfect fit he was! Came right up to me, and loved on me. Did the same to my husband and let our four year old meet him and pat him on the back. He was just so relaxed around Maggie, our other pup, and wanted to follow our son everywhere. We couldn't be happier with how he just fits right in! We are so glad to rescue him and give him the same love he gives us!

     Rescue Me! helped Hercules, an older English Mastiff. He had worn out his stay at a shelter. East Valley Animal Shelter did their best, and while they granted Hercules extra time, they could only do so much. I believe Hercules would not be here with us today, as I type this, without Rescue Me! This is our second rescued Mastiff. We hope that Hercules will be with us a very long time. Even though we had already found our prior dog, we never unsubscribed our subscription with Rescue Me! My only guess is somehow we knew that one day Hercules would come along.      I have always liked big dogs. When I was younger, my mother and I raised Saint Bernards. I have been on Rescue Me! for a while now looking for a Saint Bernard or Mastiff. I have children still at home, so I like the bigger breeds because they love kids. I received an email about Elvis needing a home because of new job requirements his owner had. Elvis was only ten minutes away from us, we went to visit, and in a few days we brought him home. Elvis is awesome with the kids and the puppy we are fostering. He has three different beds to sleep on each night, but we have no room once he is comfy! I love 'Rescue Me The first owner, Josh, is going to come visit Elvis when he has a day off! Kelly Spratt

     Rocky was adopted yesterday after seven months in the shelter. He even has a sister. Rescue Me! was certainly instrumentally in getting him these adopters. Thank you.

     I witnessed a miracle through Rescue Me! ( www.RescueMe.Org ) less than 18 hours after posting an older (almost seven year old) AKC Registered Mastiff. Roxi came to me as a Rescue four years ago. She was extremely malnourished at 65 pounds, pregnant, and she had just been treated for Lyme disease. Her teeth were already bad because of long term malnourishment. She could barely stand to eat. Most folks would have put her down and I am sure many vets would have even recommended it. I started pressure cooking chicken leg quarters and rice every day, feeding her all she wanted. It took several months to get her back to a proper weight. Of course, we fell in love and she has been a constant companion ever since. Two years ago I broke my back at 56 and was down a year. My wife almost died, after losing 25 lbs through muscle atrophy, and needed constant care for several months. I lost my clients and she lost her job. Been hard times and I am having to re-home all four of my dogs in a short period while trying to sell everything off and move. Roxi is extremely sensitive and hasn't been eating well, expressing stress along with me. She has lost too much weight again. I thought she was going to be my hardest to place. I could hardly believe it today when I received a call from a beautiful soul that wanted her, less than a day after posting. We met today and Roxi will be having dinner with the family, have her own bedroom with a bed and a TV if she wants to be alone and a loving 19-year old master to give her the big 'huggins' she craves and deserves. Roxi will have four fenced acres to run on and a place to swim. God must have set an Angel on Roxi's shoulders. Again, I want to thank the family that took Roxi. It's so hard to give up your babies in hard times. It burns to the core. A new family like Roxi's eases the pain of losing a family member.      A wonderful couple contacted me regarding Dallas. We talked for about a day and I answered all the questions they had regarding her and they answered questions I had. We met the next day and they brought their two year old son to meet Dallas as well. They all got along, and happily they took Dallas home. They sent me a picture of Dallas and their other dog out in their back yard. I think Dallas will be extremely happy with them and in her new home.
